Except for taking workshops, there is no cost for using the facilities for residents of the City of Atlanta.

Non-residents of the City of Atlanta are able to benefit from the training, fees and volunteer programs the same as residents. EXCEPT there is a charge for non-residents to use the equipment and facilities. There is a production rate card well below market prices. (see rate card)

How to get a Pre-Produced show on at People TV:

If you have already produced a program and do not require the use of any People TV facilities, you are not required to take production classes to have your program cablecast on People TV. For the best opportunity to receive a time slot go to the People TV calendar and check for the next channel time application submission date. You may submit during this period or later in the season. Be sure to mark independent producer on the application.

After you are awarded a time slot, you can turn the completed shows into playback for cablecast.  If you are a non-resident of the City of Atlanta there is a $25 fee per season.

How we award programs:

We award shows on a first come, first served basis, with city of Atlanta residents given first preference. After all requests by city residents are met, second in line are metro Atlanta applications and then residents from the state of Georgia .  Out of state applicants are considered last. If all slots are filled then you are placed on a waiting list and will be contacted when there is an opening.

Please note if you apply for a special (a single program) you will not be placed on the waiting list.
